Orion Tube Orientation control is one of the most successful and well known control units. This unit is basically meant to orient the tubes or bottles for “I mark” or such orientation, wherein the stepper motor has to rotate for a fixed distance till it receives the signal that the mark is detected. We can add more functionality as below:
- Stop on mark sensor with added time-out stop in absence of mark sensor
- Stops when start sensor de-activates in absence of mark sensor
- Stops specific number of steps after mark sensor activates
- Slows down when mark sensor activates and stops when it de-activates.
- Stay put or timed relay output on every stop also possible
