Moving Light Controls for Light Houses

The Lighthouses are designed to emit light from a system of lamps and lenses, and meant for navigation tool for maritime pilots either on coast or inland-waterways. Vertical light rays of the lamp are redirected into a horizontal plane, and horizontally the light is focused into one or a few directions at a time, with the light beam swept around. This concentration of light is accomplished with rotating lens assembly, which is powered by stepper motors for a controlled motion, such that the beam is visible from larger distances, and gets the identifying light characteristic. We are proud to claim that around 50 Lighthouses on the Western coast of India, are controlled by Orion stepper drives and controls.
